Asher Broomfield was established by Louise Broomfield, its principal solicitor.Louise decided to start her own law firm after stints with, among others, a ‘regional heavyweight’, a large Legal Aid franchise and a small provincial high street practice. In part out of a desire to build into her own life the flexibility she offers her clients and partly in response to gaps she saw in the legal services market, Louise spied an opportunity to do something refreshingly different.
Combining the traditional with the modern, Asher Broomfield marries the personal approach of the amiable family solicitor with the speed and efficiency of adaptable working methods and modern technology. If you cannot get to us during normal office hours we will come to you at a time, day and place of your choosing. We do not shut down for the weekend, but aim to be on hand whenever you might need some words of advice or reassurance.

About Louise
Louise is a specialist family law solicitor with a wealth of life experience, which enables her to take an empathetic and very practical approach to solving legal and personal problems.Louise abides by the principles of the family law organisation Resolution, promoting a conciliatory approach to resolving issues. She is the friend you can rely on to help guide you towards an amicable and fair solution, yet when the going gets tough Louise makes for a strong advocate. She is as adept at freezing a dishonest spouse’s assets in the High Court as she is at drafting a mutually agreed ‘consent order’ providing for parents to share the care of their children. Meticulous and tenacious when it comes to the law and committed to every one of her cases, Louise is well respected by other lawyers and trusted by her clients.
A Romsey Town Councillor and school governor, Louise believes strongly in the community ethos and is a prominent member of her local town. Whilst much of her spare time is devoted to her two children, Louise also enjoys cooking, reading and listening to music, preferably accompanied by a glass of wine. Signed up to the healthy body equals healthy mind philosophy, Louise is often spotted out jogging in time to the beats of her ipod. Louise ran the 2008 London Marathon in under four hours and raised almost £4000 for the Children’s Wish charity.
